THE SHORT HOMESTEAD

5 acres in the humid subtropical climate of Jacksonville Florida allow for diverse and productive yields. These residents wanted to be able to grow a substantial amount of their own food without sacrificing their passion for travel. We utilized perennial food forestry techniques to create a self-sustaining, self-fertilizing low-maintenance agricultural system.
