Our Design Process

1

Site Assessment

We begin with a thorough evaluation of your property and your goals.

2

Concept Design

A plan that illustrates the overall layout and organizes key elements into a cohesive vision.

3

Master Plan

A final plan detailing precise specifications, supportive documents, educational materials, and installation strategies.

SITE ASSESSMENT

Every good design starts with an understanding of the existing conditions. We assess key factors such as sun, soil, water, vegetation, and more, and compile them in an easy-to-understand report that informs the design process.

The level of analysis varies based on the complexity of the site and context of the design.

CONCEPT DESIGN

During the concept phase, we organize the key components of the design into a cohesive plan that is illustrated on the map. This phase often involves meetings, drafts, reviews, and revisions.

MASTER PLAN

You'll receive a detailed Master Plan Map that illustrates the final plan and guides the path to installation. You'll also receive a customized Design Manual that helps you confidently learn about and enjoy your landscape. With property-specific harvest calendars, a clear garden map, and easy-to-follow plant profiles, you’ll know exactly how to care for, harvest, and use the abundance growing right outside your door.
