This Woodinville backyard was transformed with a custom cedar raised bed garden, perfect for growing vegetables and herbs. Healthy Homestead Design built the installation using organic soil and a trellis system for climbing plants.

HABITAT GARDEN

The grass lawn was replaced with this layered garden uses ferns, lavender, and flowering shrubs to create texture, color, and habitat for pollinators.

The Blatchford Homestead is a half-acre suburban residence that converted their grassy lawns to a diverse, multi-functional ecosystem. Their new property now has over a hundred unique edible plants, mushroom patches, rainwater catchment systems and more.

Comas Homestead

Foglight Farms is a regenerative agriculture project located in Hillsboro, Oregon. This design supports a biodiverse, highly productive and resilient landscape through effective strategies such as agroforestry, water harvesting, ecosystem restoration and more.

FOGLIGHT FARMS

Sophisticatoville is a unique homestead in the Pacific Northwest. Outfitted with a chain of connected rainwater tanks and ponds, ducks integrated within the food forest, and nourishing spaces such as a sauna and outdoor dining.
